International Battery Seminar – At this week’s global International Battery Seminar, 24M Technologies, Inc. announced it has been named to Fast Company’s prestigious annual list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2025.

24M Technologies, Inc. today announced it has expanded its portfolio of Eternalyte™ electrolytes that significantly improve charge rate and cold temperature performance of today’s batteries. Initially unveiled in February 2024 and designed for lithium metal batteries, the new enhanced offering is ideal for silicon and graphite-based batteries used in applications that require high power and low temperature performance with outstanding rapid charge rates and longevity.

24M announced today that the company and its joint development partner Kyocera are the recipients of the Electrochemical Society of Japan’s 2024 Technology Award (Tanahashi Award) for the practical application and commercialization of the 24M SemiSolid™ (clay-type) lithium-ion battery cell in the Enerezza™ energy storage system. The Tanahashi Award recognizes outstanding achievements in technological development based on electrochemistry and industrial physical chemistry. In addition to the practical application of the SemiSolid lithium-ion battery cell, Kyocera and 24M were also recognized for significant energy savings in the battery manufacturing process.

24M Technologies, Inc. (24M) announced today that it has licensed its SemiSolid manufacturing platform to FUJIFILM Corporation (Fujifilm). As part of the partnership, Fujifilm will invest $20 million in 24M.

24M Technologies, Inc. announced today it was awarded $9 million in funding from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E). The funding will be used by 24M to develop and scale next-generation high energy density lithium metal anode cells for electric aviation.

24M Technologies, Inc. (24M) today announced it has closed its deal with Volkswagen Group (VWAG). Through the strategic partnership VWAG will manufacture next-generation lithium-ion EV batteries using the 24M SemiSolid™ platform for use in VWAG electric vehicles (EVs). VWAG acquired a 25% stake in 24M and will establish a wholly owned subsidiary that will, in cooperation with 24M, develop a SemiSolidTM battery cell production technology for automotive applications.
