Parsec Automation (Parsec), developer of the MES TrakSYS™, today announced a strategic collaboration with Microsoft that previews new AI-powered capabilities for manufacturing organizations. This integration with Microsoft’s Azure AI Foundry solution lays the foundation for Parsec’s AI-enabled offering, TrakSYS IQ, which will empower users to retrieve and analyze factory data through a conversational interface.

Parsec Automation (Parsec), the developer of the industry-leading manufacturing execution system (MES) TrakSYS™, today released the first of its two 2024 State of Manufacturing Surveys—part one encompasses North America, while part two (not yet released), will encompass Europe. The results show that 76% of manufacturers across North America and Europe have at least started implementing digital strategies and just over one-quarter (26%) say they have completed their digital transformation initiatives. Of those who have not begun, just 3% said they have no intentions of implementing a data-driven digital strategy at this time.
